"Dear Mr. Potter, I thought you would like to know how very pleased my wife and I were with our luncheon party yesterday. Your manager and staff had attended to setting up quite beautifully. They then looked after us very well indeed. We use the "Willie" quite often and so were pleased to feel comfortable there. Please also thank the kitchen, as the food and service was excellent, I imagine it's not easy getting 19 meals out all at the same time! Thank you again Mr. & Mrs. W.J.Freeman " -review by William F
" We arranged to go to the Wilbraham arms on a recommendation from my father in laws friend and when I heard it was under renovation but was still 'open as usual' I was a little worried but my fears were totally unfounded. We were seated at a large oval table with plenty of room for the seven of us. It was warm and comfortable. As it was my partners 40th Birthday and we had arranged we would bring a cake to be handed over to the staff who would, at the right moment bring it out to our table with candles lit. The staff were friendly and served us with excellence. We waited and wanted for nothing during our meal. The menu was as you would expect from a pub type restaurant and the food was cooked to our liking and was of good quality and large portions. We had a lovely time and would recommend and go again. " Dear Roy & Sharon,we arranged to hold my sons 40th at the Wilbraham Arms on the recommendation from a friend. We were seated at a large oval table with plenty of room for the seven of us. It was warm and comfortable, the staff were friendly and the service was excellent, we wanted for nothing. The menu was first class and the food was cooked to our liking, was good quality with large portions. We felt very much at home and will be coming back and will certainly recommend to all. Thank you. " One year ago on the 17th October it was our wedding day and we chose the Wilbraham Arms for our reception. We had been there for lunch on occasions and for our mums 70th birthday which was lovely. But all the stops were pulled out for our wedding reception. Roy and his staff were very accommodating and made our special day one to remember. Everything was perfect from the minute we walked through the door. The room looked lovely and the food was of outstanding quality !! We would fully recommend the venue for any special occasion..... " The Wilbraham Arms is a great local pub. We'd say the best in Alsager!!! Roy, Sharon and the team work really hard and are always very welcoming. It's a nice place to go as a couple, family or to meet up with friends, old and new. The choice of food available is excellent. Always a good portion, well presented and served with a smile. We enjoy the "Nights with the Stars" evenings. The acts booked are top rate. The evening is well worth the money - includes a cabaret act and a tasty two course buffet meal, which again has plenty of choice on offer. We'd highly recommend booking a ticket. Leave it too late and you'll be disappointed. Jazz nights on a Sunday evening and Curry Nights on a Thursday are also enjoyable. Keep up the good work. Denise & Mick " -review by Denise Hughes
" On Sunday July 10th 2011 my family booked me a surprise 70th birthday dinner. I was told that there would be 11 people there when in fact there were 21........what a lovely surprise.I would like to thank Roy and the Staff for the wonderful food and service that they provided. "My Wife and I visited Alsager and the surrounding area for two weeks recently. We visited The Wilbraham Arms an several occasions. We found Roy & Sharon to be two of the nicest people we have met in a long time.Their premises are spotlessly clean and the toilets are so clean you could eat your lunch off the floor. The food is excellent especially the Sunday carvery, scrumptious. We enjoyed the quiz nights & also the excellent live music on a Thursday & Sunday. We would love to live in Alsager and make this excellent premises our local.10/10. Thanks Roy and Sharon for your kindness and making us feel so welcome during our stay. " We wish to thank The Wilbraham Arms for a fantastic evening on April 2nd, 2012, it was my husband & I's 35th Wedding Anniversary, my youngest son Chris and his wife Donna treated us to a 3 course meal. It was the best food we have ever had out before, it beats all the top restaurants we have been to in the past. The owner Roy was so caring and friendly, the staff were lovely to, we weren't rushed, they are child friendly, very clean everywhere, and the food was fab, it was such good value for money, a very big thankyou for a very enjoyable evening, we will certainly be returning and telling all our friends to do the same, highly recommended.
