THE WILBRAHAM ARMS

About the Wilbraham Arms

The Wilbraham Arms is a large detached public house sitting in its own well manicured grounds on the outskirts of Alsager. It was built on the site of a former Cheshire farm house and is very well known in the area.

The distinctive arched entrance leads into a large lounge bar and a conservatory dining area and there are a variety of outside areas for drinking or alfresco dining. Food is served lunchtime & evenings Monday to Saturday and all day on Sundays ‘til 9.00pm.

The Wilbraham Arms is in its 30th year of trading, having been opened by local land owner, Lord Wilbraham in February 1980. The current owners, Roy & Sharon, have been successfully running the business for almost half that time and have gained an enviable reputation for good food and live entertainment.

Roy has been in the trade for over 25 years and comes from an entertainment background. Little wonder that Live Jazz still remains popular at ‘Willy's Jazz Club' every Sunday evening.

During the early years at the pub Roy & Sharon recognised a niche in the market for top quality cabaret dinner evenings and began their “Nights with the Stars”. Utilising tribute acts from Granada's “Stars in Their Eyes” they have hosted many successful evenings.

In November 2008 Roy & Sharon introduced a new alternative ‘lunchtime menu'. You can enjoy a main course for £4.95 or for an extra £1 add a starter or dessert & if you are really hungry three courses for £7.95. It's available Mon to Friday 12 – 2
